This Polish artist was brought to my attention by Mark Webber (see the post below). I didn't really believe it was a linocut at first glance! More works by this artist here
Yes I have heard but not seen about european artists who do linocuts more or less like doing a mezzotint except they prick out tiny bits with a needle. This work must be getting close to that. Abslautley amazing from a linocutting perspective
