December linocut workshops and exhibitions in Margate and London

I have lots of linocut workshops, exhibitions and other events coming up in Margate and London in the next few weeks. This weekend I'm running linocut printing workshops at Turner Contemporary and Fort's Cafe. Then next week it's the East London Printmakers open studio in Hackney followed by my pop-up Anti-Christmas Shop and Satan's Grotto at Parade in Margate.

Turner Contemporary

Linocut workshop - print your own wrapping paper

Part of Late Night Live at Turner Contemporary, Margate
Friday 30th December, 6-9pm, free admission, all welcome

Come along to Turner Contemporary and carve and print a lino design to make your own wrapping paper. A few of my friends are also running workshops, including Zoe Murphy screenprinting onto wooden decorations, Heidi Plant doing beading, Emrys Plant doing paper folding and Dawn Cole making snowflake prints.

Carve and print your own linocut Christmas cards in the relaxed surroundings of Forts, have a glass of wine and if you're hungry, choose from their menu of proper, home-cooked food (I recommend the burgers!).

East London Printmakers Open Studio

Free event, all welcome

I will be selling my linocut Christmas cards and a selection of prints at this year's ELP Christmas open studio, as well as running a lino printing demo. There will be loads of other great stuff to buy, including the brand new ELP box set.
