New linocut print - Deep Sea Diver

My deep sea diver print is finally finished! It's the first multi-coloured linocut I've made for ages, and the biggest. I've made bigger prints, like the T-Rex and Dodo, but used screenprint for the colours on those. This time I had to print and register seven separate lino blocks.

Below is a photo showing the linoleum blocks inked up and ready to print. If you'd like to see how I made the rainbow effect, read my previous blog post on how to print a colour blend.

I have made a film of the making of this print, which will be on my new website when I launch it, hopefully next week. The print is an edition of 25 and is available to buy now from my Etsy shop.

  4. No entiendo bien ¿cuántas matrices se utilizan cuánto el grabado esulticolor? Creo que veo los "pedazos" de lo que sería el relieve después de la base ¿verdad?
